Happy New Year my friends!! So much is happening here at Delta Swingers central headquarters in this new year! We're working hard on our debut album (thanks to YOU!!), got LOTS of shows coming up, a European tour in the works for April and May, a nomination for Blues Artist of the Year from the New England Music Awards, and a few extra special goodies for you! First, the goodies: we've been uploading tons of live performance vids at our Delta Swingers YouTube Channel, as well as my new Acoustic YouTube Channel! Subscribe now! This Friday January 17th we bring the Charles River Delta Blues up to One Longfellow Square in Portland ME for a night of blues and roots! EUROPEAN TOUR IN THE WORKS FOR APRIL/MAY!
It's our first European tour!!!! Jim and I are taking the acoustic duo to the UK for the entire month of April 2014 and then we'll be hitting Spain for the first two weeks of May! Much of the tour has already been booked (in fact, you can see the dates on our website now!). We're still looking to fill some dates, so if you have ideas about clubs, pubs, friends willing to host house concerts, etc., please respond to this email with suggestions! Thanks!
