Here's a video about the Wake Up The Earth Festival we performed at last week. We are featured at 0:53 to the end! Produced by the Boston Neighborhood Network (BNN).

We didn't make it to the finals, but we did make it into the semi-finals, which means we were in the top 40 out of 110 international bands this year at the 27th Annual International Blues Challenge! We played three sets at the IBC, including two nights for the quarter finals at the Red Rooster, and one night at the semi finals at Albert's. Then we ended up getting to play a few tunes at Bob Margolin's blues jam Saturday night at the Rum Boogie, where Erin broke her guitar and got to finish the Virtual Booty Blues on Bob's Gibson Les Paul (named "Goldilocks"). Our friend, videographer Greg Shea, got lots of great footage of our live performances, interviews and behind-the-scenes fun, and is currently working on a documentary of our trip. Stay tuned for more news about the film, which should be out soon! And if you were in Memphis and have footage of our sets, please forward it to us, we may include them in the documentary – we'll give you credit of course!

TUESDAY NIGHT, 12/14, is our BIG EXTRA-SPECTACULAR FANTABULOUS MEMPHIS BENEFIT at JOHNNY D'S in Somerville! The list of blues superstars on the bill has been steadily growing, and we are SO HONORED to have the support of so many in the blues scene! We had a great time at the Boston Music Awards! We didn't win, the Blues Artist of the Year went to Johnny A. But we got to share the stage with Peter Parcek, Johnny A, and Dwight and Nicole as well as many others! It was a great time, thanks Boston Music Awards, and thank you all out there for your votes!

WE DID IT! With your help, support and love we won the 2010 Boston Blues Challenge, and we are GOING TO MEMPHIS in February to represent Boston in the International Blues Challenge! We are so excited!! Beale Street here we come!

Sunday night was the Finals, it was a really great show and all the bands were awesome. Thanks to all those who came out to the show to support, to all those who sent us love and luck, and to all the other bands who took part in this year's Challenge! We'd also like to congratulate the solo/duo winners - Cindy Daley and Satch Romano! We'll be seein' you guys in Memphis!

Last night we competed in the Boston Blues Challenge, presented by the Boston Blues Society, and won our night! Congratulations to co-winner Drivin' Blind! And the other bands on the bill did a great job too: Kid Pinky, Barrett Anderson Band and the Lois Greco Band. Now we go on to the finals on Sunday October 17th at Johnny D's – and grand prize winner that night goes to the International Blues Challenge 2010 in Memphis!!

Check out the video of one of the highlights of our (short, 20-minute) set last night! So many people were dancing by the end of our set, just like I told them to! Thanks to everyone who came out to support last night! Special thanks go out to the Blues Union dancers!!!
