I don’t know about you, but I love Christmas music, just not all Christmas music, it has to be the RIGHT Christmas music. There’s definitely lots of cheesy stuff out there… Well “The Christmas Swing” is the good stuff! It's raw, classic blues, and real homespun music – that happens to be mostly about Christmas, New Years, Santa, winter and/or drinking – and it will be sure to get you in a festive mood! I enjoyed putting together this collection of songs, including selections by Chuck Berry, Bessie Smith, Lightnin’ Hopkins, Leadbelly, Bo Carter, plus a couple originals and a few surprises. There’s electric and acoustic blues, rockabilly, and acapella kazoo!
